Question by ~ Jamie ~: What is this circulatory problem called?
When brownish red freckle like spots appear on the top of the foot and around the ankle as a result of blood appearing to “stain” the foot? It is a circulatory issue and I am trying to research more info to see how I can fix this problem. I have had it for a few years and am geting desperate.

Sounds like some sort of circulation problem… like dysfunctional valves in the veins of the leg or something.

Question by : what does contraindicated in high blood pressure mean?
My doctor has given me this supplement called adrenal complex made by Standard Process. One of the cautions states “contraindicated in high blood pressure”. I take high blood pressure medicine and my doctor still says its ok to take this supplement although he did not explain what this meant. Anyone know?

Contraindicated means “don’t do it”.

But in ALL cases, your doctor is the best judge. in this case, he apparently feels that the potential good to your life out ways any potential side effects.

Still, you SHOULD call him and ask him some more detailed questions, like “what COULD happen if I take these two medicines together?”, or “How does this affect my blood pressure?”

White blood cells are made in the bone marrow along with red blood cells. This is pretty much the only thing that relates them. Also, they are both considered to be the main constituents of blood along with platelets and plasma.

I had a friend who died today from a blood clot that started in her leg and moved to her lung.
Apparantly it can become what’s called a pulumonary embolism??]

Question by : How to deal with this embarrassing situation?
This happend in school a few months ago but whenever I think about it I get really down in the dumps.

My “friends” one day decided to go through my school bag.My period had just ended and there was alot of blood on my underwear.I don’t really like throwing those kind of things in the bin at home just invade my dad sees them so I decided to bring it to school and throw it in the bin in the toilets.

That day I was talking to another girl in my class when all of a sudden the 3 “friends” started bursting out laughing.One of them started shouting “blood stain”.The other 2 ran out of the room laughing.Thankfully there were only a small number of people in the room and the others didn’t know about it.

But a few weeks ago I was at the mall with one of my real friend and she said (without naming anyone) that when I left the room one day the girl that found it told her the story.I’m not sure how many peole she told it to tho.I denied it but inside I just wanted to run away.

Now whenever it comes to my mind I feel really down in the dumps.I’m worried that she wool tell more people and that soon everyone will know.Please give me some advise on how to get over this embarrassment??
